  • Overview

    AbleVets, LLC is a fast-growing Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing healthcare information technology services and resources to help the VA and DoD improve the lives of the people they serve. AbleVets has an opportunity available for an experienced, motivated Reporting Analyst to support healthcare information technology projects for our customers.

    Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will use cross-functional team coordination experience and excellent communication skills to support various project management and reporting functions across a large, complex COTS Integration program. Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Supporting project management by gathering requirements, drafting project plans, submitting project progress reports, and identifying risks and issues.
    • Coordinating with stakeholders to provide end-to-end meeting support covering various topics. Activities include:  developing agendas, facilitating discussions, and documenting meetings minutes/actions.
    • Creating routine and ad hoc reports, ensuring they are client ready
    • Providing oral and written discussion of analytical findings using narrative and graphic forms.
    • Interacting with technical teams and synthesizing complex issues/challenges into varying formats based on audience.
    • Develop mechanisms to track and report implementation of initiatives, guidance, and controls across the customer’s environment.
    • Supporting the development and update of project management, plans, processes and other ad hoc project documentation.
    • Coordinating with Stakeholders to track project activities using tracking tools such as MS Project and SharePoint.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or related field; 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
    • 3-5 years of experience in project analysis, statusing, monitoring, and reporting
    • Excellent verbal communication skill
    • Excellent analytical and problem  solving skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Office
    • Ability to facilitate and coordinate efforts with key government and non-government stakeholders
    • Optimistic attitude, poise, and team player
    • Ability to obtain a security clearance
    • Previous Government contracting work experience
    • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience supporting large-scale Program Management Office efforts
    • Previous Federal contracting experience, specifically with the Department of Veterans Affairs or the Department of Defense
