  • Overview

    AbleVets, LLC is a fast-growing Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing healthcare information technology services and resources to help the VA and DoD improve the lives of the people they serve. AbleVets has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated Junior IT Support to be a part of our growing organization. This position is located in our Chantilly, VA office.

    Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be able to interpret business processes and identify how to translate them to solutions. This individual will be responsible for creating and enhancing internal IT processes, maintain the configuration, security, and stability of the user directory, administering the Agile Lifecycle Management tool suite, and creating scripts to automate internal workflows. Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Managing users and features within the Agile Lifecycle Management tools.
    • Assisting IT team with account management within multiple domains
    • Administer O365 suite including SharePoint
    • Resolve incoming helpdesk tickets in accordance with standard SLAs
    • Develop scripts that increase workflow and process effectiveness

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical
    • At least 3 years of experience as a Windows (7 & 10) or OSX system administrator
    • At least 3 years of experience provisioning IT hardware
    • Possess a recent O365 or other Microsoft Certification
    • 1 to 3 years of experience working with a help desk or other ticketing system

    Additional Desired Qualifications:

    • CompTIA A+ Certification
