    AbleVets, LLC is a fast-growing Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing healthcare information technology services and resources to help the VA and DoD improve the lives of the people they serve. AbleVets has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated Quality Management Analyst to support our customer.  This position is located at our Arlington, Virginia office.

    Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

    Perform day-to-day execution of the PMO quality processes within a large, complex COTS implementation effort using standard methodologies, techniques, and metrics for assuring product quality and key activities in quality management.

    • Provides operational support for quality management of program artifacts, to include deliverables, data calls, etc.
    • Works directly with content owners to remediate artifacts that do not meet quality control standards
    • Provides suggestions to process leader on ways to improve the quality process
    • Manages the day-to-day risks of artifacts and escalate actions as needed
    • Works directly with the Customer to provide clear expectations when artifacts are ready for submission
    • Provides guidance to content owners on how to best remediate feedback from the quality team (both technical editing and content suggests)
    • Participates in process improvement activities across the PMO to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of program processes
    • Follows and creates clear quality standards in alignment with the Quality Management Plan that promotes transparency across the project team to show where there are quality issues, and help remediate
    • Supports ongoing update and refinement of the Quality Management Plan and associated SOPs
    • Supports the creation and implementation of quality goals and objectives
    • Documenting the structure, procedures, responsibilities, and processes needed for effective quality management across the project lifecycle
    • Monitoring and measuring project quality performance through the development of proposed metrics, checklists, etc.
    • Supporting the implementation of QA and value-based metrics to influence improved decision making
    • Determining the project timelines and plans for QA related operations


    • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline with four (4) to six (6) years related quality assurance experience. Six (6) additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
    • Familiarity with Quality Management ISO standards
    • Ability to explain and interpret information from internal and external sources
    • Must be detail-oriented and ensure polished and customer-ready deliverables
    • Self-starter that can work under general direction in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
    • High degree of Microsoft Office Proficiency (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint)
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Must be able to travel when needed at least 10% of the time
    • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

    Preferred / Desired Skills:

    • Exposure to software development lifecycle with a grasp of technical areas
    • Previous Government contracting work experience
